What China Plains means:

The Central China Plains (中原 - ZhongYuan), sometimes interchangeable with the North China Plain (华北平原 - HuaBei PingYuan), was the cradle of Chinese civilization. Similar to the US Great Plains, it has fertile flat land, and its agricultural abundance allowed the formation of most of the dynasties of China. The ancient kingdoms here were known as the 'Middle Kingdoms', and were seen as the nucleus of Chinese Culture. Subsequent empires that unified the all of China, also took the name 'Middle Kingdom', to show they were the true descendants of original Chinese Culture. 

Therefore the Central China Plains are seen as the center of the Chinese world and China. Our name China Plains reflects this intimate knowledge of China and its markets, and recognition of how the history and culture inevitably shape and differentiate how business and affairs are done in the Middle Kingdom.
